Overview of Accessible Library Services

The Library is dedicated to enabling all students and faculty to make full use of our services and resources.

Retrieval of Items on Shelves

This service is available for students registered with Accessibility Services.

Please ask Library staff if you require assistance to retrieve any of our materials.

You may also email a small list of required titles (with call numbers) to so we can retrieve in advance of your visit. Please provide at least one business day for your request to be completed. 

Assistance with Photocopying & Other Library Equipment

Please ask Library staff if you require assistance with any of the equipment in the Library.

Research Assistance

Service staff at both Library locations provide research assistance. Research help is also available by telephone, email and the askON online chat service

If you require a 30-minute research consultation, your Program Liaison is available by appointment.

Library Instructional Workshops

Your instructor may invite your Program Liaison to provide a workshop for your class on research skills and accessing library resources.

If you would like the workshop materials in an alternate format (e.g. large print, audio, electronic text) please notify your instructor in advance and ask them to convey your requirements to the Program Liaison. 

Requesting Alternate Format for Library Materials

This service is available for students registered with Accessibility Services. Please email us your request for an alternate format of a library resource, including text-based and audio-visual media. 

Students requiring alternate formats of textbooks should contact Accessibility Services for support.
