To borrow library items, full-time students, faculty and staff are to present their ONE Card. Part-time students, faculty and staff without a ONE Card can request to have a Conestoga Library card.

  • Books: two weeks (unless marked otherwise)
  • Popular DVDs: three days
  • Journals & Magazines: one day
    • Renewals: two additional periods (if item is not on hold)
    • Limits: two items per book call number, journal or DVD title
  • Reserves:  two hours or one day (no renewals or holds)
    • Limits: two items per person
  • "Library Use Only" Items: may taken out for a restricted period upon request from current students, faculty or staff
  • Weekend Due Dates: The Library is open on weekends during the Fall and Winter terms. Items due on weekends must be returned on the assigned due date.

Overdue items are subject to library fines.


Most library items (except Reserves) may be renewed for two additional periods if there are no holds waiting. Items can be renewed online (unless overdue, then they must be renewed by phone, email, or in person).

Renewing Online

  • Visit My Account
  • Select "Renew my Materials"
  • Log in with your Conestoga Student ID or Faculty/Staff Client ID number and PIN
  • Check the boxes of the items for renewal
  • Select "Renew Selected Items" and make note of revised due date

If requesting a renewal by phone or email, please leave a message with the following information:

  • Your full name
  • Conestoga Student or Client ID number
  • List of items to be renewed

Items not renewed on time and/or are overdue are subject to library fines.
