As you research, keep track of all your sources by using our PDF tracking tool. Each source type tracks required elements for your reference entries. This will make it easier for you to complete your reference list for your paper in the end.
Print off the Tracking Sources PDF and take it with you to fill in as you go. The PDF is also fillable, but the amount of entries allowed is limited.
A DOI is a string of letters and numbers that was put in place to make finding published electronic works easier to find.
If a source provides the DOI, use it instead of a URL. For more information, see our DOIs and Retrieval Statements document.
This is the date you accessed and took information from the website. Always use a retrieval date before URLs or database names.
