Meet Conestoga's OER Ranger: Dillon March, MA, February 15, 2024, at noon

Please join the open learning team virtually at noon on Thursday, February 15, 2024, to meet Conestoga's OER Ranger, Dillon March, MA. You will learn about Dillon's journey as an eCampus Ontario OER Ranger. Dillon started this quest in September and has been working on an OER Project to advance Open at Conestoga. During Dillon's presentation, you will learn what it means to be an OER Ranger, what Dillon has learned, and the resources Dillon is developing for the Conestoga Community and beyond.

Dillon's Bio

Dillon is a part-time faculty member in Interdisciplinary Studies, who has been teaching French and Multicultural Studies at Conestoga since 2019. He also works full-time as an instructional designer for a therapeutic company. Dillon has worked in the instructional design world for the past eight years. Formerly the manager of D2L’s instructional design team, Dillon has led and developed courses on various topics, from business to healthcare to culture. Dillon is passionate about learning, instructional design, content curation, and languages. He has extensive experience developing training for the non-profit, private, and public sectors in academic, learning and development, and professional development contexts. Dillon has experience with web development, graphic design, motion graphics animation, script writing, LMS administration, and project management. Dillon runs a YouTube channel and an online language-learning school outside of an academic environment.
