Quiet Study (Doon)

The west end of the Library features a quiet study section with a variety of seating for close to 70 people.

Quiet Study Features:

  • 40 individual study carrels
  • 24 individual perimeter seats with access to power for laptop use
  • 8 lounge seats next to natural light

Students are asked to respect designated quiet study space by whispering, limiting conversations and muting cellphones/audio devices.

Silent Study (Doon)

The west end of the Library features a Silent Study Room with a variety of seating for close to 50 people.

Silent Study Features:

  • 38 individual study carrels; perimeter carrels with access to power for laptops
  • 1 electric, height-adjustable table
  • 2 group study tables with seating for 4 people
  • An alternative study seating "nook" with beanbag chairs
  • After-hours access when the Library is closed/campus is open

Quiet Study (Cambridge)

There are two designated quiet study locations at Cambridge Campus: Library Resource Room (A1109) & Quiet Study Room (A2201).

Library Resource Room (A1109) Features:

  • Seats approximately 6 people via individual study desks
  • Access to power for laptop use

Quiet Study in the Cambridge Library

Quiet Study Room (A2201) Features:

  • Seats approximately 24 people via lounge, bistro, and computer-style seating
  • Access to 10 computers and 1 printer
  • Access to power for laptop use
  • Open when Cambridge Campus is open
