Adapting an OER

One fantastic aspect of using OER is the ability to customize the material (as described by the license) to suit your needs. This may be a simple update or a complex project. Whether working alone or as a team, this guide provides information and tools to aid faculty in authoring new and adapted OER for teaching and learning.

Steps to Adapting an OER

1. Fill out the intake form.

Complete the intake form to receive a list of OER targeted to your course or program and a consult with our OER Consultant.

You will receive support tailored to your adaptation project's needs. These may include instructional design, editorial, project management, and quality review support.

Using Your OER Adaptation in a Course
