Grammarly

Garmmarly

Grammarly is a digital writing assistant. With Grammarly, you can greatly improve the spelling, grammar, tone and style of your writing. Conestoga students have free access to Grammarly Premium (EDU version).

Here are four tips for using Grammarly for academic work in a responsible way:

1. Before using Grammarly, ask your instructor for permission to use it.

2. If you have permission to use Grammarly for an assignment, only use your Conestoga College Grammarly Premium account. This version of Grammarly does not include access to GrammarlyGO, the Gen AI tool.

3. Review this guidance on Grammarly and Turnitin's AI Detection Score from the Academic Integrity Office. (Scroll down to Grammar and Spelling Checkers.)

4. Review this guidance on Grammar and Spellcheckers vs. Generative AI and Paraphrasers from the Academic Integrity Office. (Scroll down to Grammar and Spelling Checkers.)
