Saving a Link to a Document


Do not use the browser URL to link back to resources. Use the persistent link instead.

Finding Persistent Links

Want to save a link to a document from VLex? URLs copied from the address bar of Vlex will not work when clicked on later.

Instead, follow this two-step process to obtain a link that will for for you to return to the document later. 

1. Click the Share button and select "Link to Page" in the list of options.

2. Copy the first of the two URLs you see there. *

* If you only see one URL, copy that one, but add the following "prefix" to the URL: 

http://ra.ocls.ca/ra/login.aspx?inst=conestoga&url=

Example: http://ra.ocls.ca/ra/login.aspx?inst=conestoga&url=http://ca.vlex.com/source/labour-employment-law-federal-public-service-second-edition-49554
