Adding eResources to eConestoga
If you wish to add a library resource (e.g. article, book or video) to your course, it's essential to know how to find the correct, fuctional URL.
- Take note of the database you are searching, and then consult the Linking to Library Resources document to learn where to find the correct URL for that database.
- In eConestoga, use the Create File > Insert Quicklink > Insert Link option or the Create Link option to add the link. In contrast, pasting the URL into an eConestoga page will cause the URL, when clicked, to lead to an error page. Review the video below, which uses linking to streaming video content as an example.
