Order of Sections in a Paper
APA @ Conestoga requires the following order for each section of your paper. For more information about each section, please click on the title.
Title Page (numbered as page 1)
Table of Contents (start on a separate page, numbered as page 2; ask your instructor if this section is needed)
Abstract or Executive Summary (start on a separate page, numbered page 2 or numbered page 3; ask your instructor if this section is needed)
Body of Paper (start on a separate page, numbered page 3 if abstract is included/numbered page 2 if no abstract is included)
References (start on a separate page)
Appendices (start each on a separate page)
