How can I access my Texidium eTexts?

Claiming your eText

  1. Navigate to course in eConestoga
  2. Click Content
  3. Click on Your eText module, then click the link inside
    1. Make sure the title of the book matches the book in your course’s instructional plan. That can be found under Content.
  4. Click on the book link. Your book will open in the Texidium reader in your browser.
  5. Click the yellow bar at the top to register for a Texidium account.
    1. Enter your personal email address.
    2. Check your email and click on the verification link.
    3. Fill out the form and click Complete Registration.
  6. Download the appropriate desktop or mobile app if you wish to read it offline or on other devices. (Installing Texidium apps)

Claiming your eText with a Digital Access Code

  1. Navigate to course in eConestoga
  2. Click Content
  3. Click on Your eText module, then click the link inside. You will be taken to the Conestoga Webstore.
    1. Make sure the title of the book matches the book in your course’s instructional plan. That can be found under Content.
    2. Locate the appropriate book and click on the grey Ordered button.
    3. Copy the digital access code (in red font).
    4. Click the Claim Your Books button.
  4. Go back to your eConestoga course and click on Content.
    1. Click on the corresponding publisher module (example: McGraw Hill) and click the link inside. Follow the instructions for inputting your access code (copied from Conestoga Webstore, see step 3c).
  5. Go back to your eText, opened in the Texidum browser window.
    1. Click the yellow bar at the top to register for a Texidium account.
      1. Enter your personal email address.
      2. Check your email and click on the verification link.
      3. Fill out the form and click Complete Registration.
  6. Download the appropriate desktop or mobile app if you wish to read it offline or on other devices. (Installing Texidium apps)
