Nielsen's IMS Clear Decisions Crosstab software is used to define a target population and analyse their various demographics, product usage, behavior, and media and lifestyle choices.
Conestoga provides access to Vividata data through the Nielsen interface.
"What percent of all adults over 18 years play baseball, football or soccer and are between the ages of 18-24?" This detailed level of question, with more than one usage variable ("baseball", "football" and "soccer"), requires you to construct a Nielsen IMS Clear Decisions Crosstab using Vividata's category data.
"What percent of all adults over 18 years that play baseball are between the ages of 18-24?" This less detailed level of question, with just one usage variable ("baseball") can be answered using Vividata's online web tool. It's faster and easier to use than the Nielsen IMS Clear Decisions Crosstab software.
This software is used for advanced manipulation and retrieval of Vividata’s Readership and Product Data. To view Target Snapshots from Vividata, use Vividata’s online interface. Access it through the Library’s A to Z list of eResources.
