When submitting work to the institutional repository, it is the obligation of the submitter to ensure their work abides by Canadian Copyright law. If copyright-protected content is included in the work, the submitter must gain written permission to use the content. The submission of work to the repository does not transfer copyright to the repository. Copyright remains with the copyright holder.
