Appeal Process

Students have the right to appeal within five business days if they have sufficient evidence that an academic incident did not occur or an error in the procedure.

Please review the Procedure for Academic Incidents.

The student will need to appeal to you within five business days of when they received the academic incident. Your responsibility is to look at the evidence and decide whether to upload the incident or remove the incident.
The Academic Integrity Office can review the information and evidence with you.
No, the student must appeal the academic incident themselves. However, the student can ask to consult with CSI or the Academic Integrity Office. In addition, a student can bring a record to any academic integrity meeting (i.e., CSI representative).
